Well it's been a long time since I published a post so here I go!! The reason I haven't posted in such a long time was that I was having to much fun in Canada to do so. Thanks everyone for making my trip sooo much fun!! Darcy was a pretty good guide, even though we didn't shoot too many grouse and woodcock, it wasn't his fault. There were not many birds around the camp this year.. It was the first time that I hunted over a dog and boy it sure makes life a lot easier. Jade also had a wonderful time. I was really surprised that she spent so much time up in the woods with the gang and me. I think she is becoming Canadian. Not too many woman can spend that much time in the bush.

I think we spent about a third of the time home up in the woods. It was a great brake from city life. It just confirmed how much I love small town life and forest vacations. I'm already planning my next trip home, even though it won't be for a while. I'm planning to come home some time in November and stay until the new year. That way I can get deer season and Christmas in one vacation.

Well, we all had a few laughs while Jade and I were home. I think the funniest part was Jake getting sprayed by the skunk(though Darcy may not have found it too funny). Warning to all, Don't feed skunks if there are dogs around. It's bad!! Very, very bad!!! There is no quicker way to make a party disperse, then to put a dog who has been sprayed by a skunk in the middle of it..

So much happened while we were home that I can't write about it all and even if I could I'm not fully sure I should!! So that's it for today. My next post will be about my first week back in Korea. Thanks to everyone again for the great time. Well, some things have not changed over the past few months, I'm still having problems uploading photos. Maybe next time.

Well I am glad you two had fun, I sure did. Not much we could do over the number of grouse and woodcock. Well there was, we should have stayed hunting in this part of the province, not up north. but what can you do, all the freezing rain in the spring is hard on chicks.I find it just as fun walking in the woods with the dog. And Jade really impressed me, Not too many women would stay in the woods that long and still stay sain so good for you Jade. As for the Skunk, well we all know how that will end in the spring. POW POW !!!!!

Miss you guys lots too. Can't wait 'til you get home again and two years is going to be waayyy too long.

The skunk certainly gave us something to entertain us that evening. It still blows me away that after you went camp to camp to get all the ingredients, so everyone knew about it... yet they still flocked to the yard not long after. Poor Jake.

Gotta love peroxide and baking soda or that would have been the end of deer season.

Blogger seems to be getting worse, none of us can upload and I know I'm getting error pages left right and center. My mission today... to search out other blog sites, back up my blog and try the switch to beta and see if that helps. Heck, it can't possibly get any worse, right?

I'll let ya's know how it goes.
